Ford-ing the River of Truck Ads

Hello World! Starting a new blog is always hard so I'm going to just dive right into it. My name is Luke Henderson and I am a student at LSU studying mass communication and vocal performance. Not exactly the most common double major, but I promise you, they mesh well. Today I'm going to talk about Ford's online presence. Specifically their truck ads. Now, call me weird but I enjoy looking at cars online. So, I get the pleasure to see several ads of every car make and model whenever I surf the web. However, one ad that always catches my eye is Ford's ads for their F series of trucks. They are targeted to a very specific group of people. People who like to be able to tackle any challenge, whether it be crossing the Himalayas or going on a grocery run. Ford always shows their trucks on a brown mountainous backgrounds with information about truck prices in the description at the bottom, and their video ads always mention words like "high-strength", "Military-grade", etc, While also showing it assisting in heavy duty activity, like construction, towing or off-roading. To sum it all up, Ford is trying to tell consumers that it's trucks help workers get things done, so why not you?
Peace out World, and never stop editorializing.
